Email templates

Email templates built for your brand — and easy to edit yourself.

Custom HTML email templates, designed around your colours, fonts and voice — not a generic theme. They render properly in any platform, and they're marked up so clearly that you (or anyone on your team) can swap the words, images and links yourself without breaking the layout. Built once; after that they're yours to use as often as you like.

Your brand, your words, any platform.

A small set of templates designed and built around your business — typically a welcome email and a newsletter to start — that work everywhere and that you control.

🎨
Designed for your brand
Your colours, fonts, logo and tone — built in from the start. Not a stock template with your logo dropped on top, but something that looks like you in the inbox.
📨
Welcome, newsletter & promo
The three you'll use most: a warm welcome for new subscribers, a flexible newsletter for your monthly send, and an offer email for sales and launches. Add more whenever you need them.
🧩
Works in any platform
Built with email-safe, table-based HTML that renders properly in Gmail, Apple Mail and Outlook. Paste straight into Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo — whatever you use. No lock-in.
✏️
Editable by you
Every spot you'd want to change — headline, body text, images, links, buttons — is clearly marked in the code, so you update the words and pictures yourself and never touch the layout.
📘
A plain-English guide
A short, jargon-free guide on exactly how to edit your templates — plus my free Plain Text Generator to finish each send. Nothing technical required.
🔑
Yours to keep
A one-off project, not a rental. The templates are yours to keep, edit and reuse as often as you like, with no subscription to pay and nobody you're tied to afterwards — me included.

If you can spot a comment, you can edit it.

Every template is littered with plain-English markers showing exactly what to change and what to leave alone. Open it in any editor, change the bit between the markers, save. That's it.

<!-- ✏️ EDIT: Your headline goes here -->
<h1>Welcome to the family, Jane</h1>

<!-- ✏️ EDIT: Your body text — keep it short & warm -->
<p>Thanks for joining us. Here's what to expect…</p>

<!-- 🖼️ EDIT: Image — swap the link, alt text & caption -->
<img src="https://yoursite.com/photo.jpg" alt="Our team">
<!-- ✏️ Caption: --> <span>The team on opening day</span>

<!-- 🔗 EDIT: Button — change the text & the link -->

<!-- ⛔ Don't change anything below this line — that's the layout -->

New to editing HTML emails? Here's the 5-minute guide →

From your brand to your inbox, in four steps.

01
Tell me about your brand
Your colours, fonts, logo, the kind of emails you send and the feel you're after. If I've already built your website or brand, I've got most of this already.
02
I design & build the templates
Custom-designed around your brand and hand-coded in bulletproof, email-safe HTML — tested to render properly across Gmail, Apple Mail and Outlook, in light and dark mode.
03
I hand them over, clearly marked up
You get the template files with every editable spot labelled, plus a short guide on editing them. They're yours from then on — no subscription, and nothing tying you to me.
04
You edit & send — forever
Change the words and images, generate a plain-text version with my free tool, paste into your platform and send. Same template, fresh email, every time — no designer needed.

What people ask about the templates.

Can I really edit them myself?
Yes — that's the whole point. Every editable spot (headline, body text, images, links, buttons) is clearly marked with a plain-English comment in the code. You open the file in any text or HTML editor, change the bits between the markers, and you're done. You get a short editing guide too, and you never touch the underlying layout.
Which email platforms do they work in?
Any of them. The templates use email-safe, table-based HTML and inline styles that render reliably across Gmail, Apple Mail and Outlook, so you can paste them straight into Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, Campaign Monitor — whatever you use. They're not tied to one platform.
Do I own the templates?
Yes. They're built for your brand and they're yours to keep, edit and reuse as often as you like, on any platform, with no subscription and no lock-in. It's a one-off project, not a rental.
What about the plain-text version?
Every good email needs a plain-text version alongside the HTML — it helps deliverability. You can generate one in seconds from your finished template using my free Plain Text Email Generator, then drop it into your platform. The guide walks you through it.
Do the templates handle unsubscribe and the legal bits?
Every template ships with the unsubscribe link and a footer space for your business name and postal address already in place — these are legally required in UK marketing email (PECR & UK GDPR). I mark exactly where to drop in your email platform's unsubscribe tag (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo each use their own), and the editing guide spells it out step by step. I'm a designer, not your compliance officer — but the templates are built so you can't accidentally leave the legally-required parts out.
Who am I actually allowed to send these to?
Marketing emails should only go to people who opted in, or to existing customers under the narrow UK "soft opt-in" — not bought lists or contacts you've "always had". Operational emails (order or booking confirmations) are different and don't need marketing consent, as long as they stay genuinely operational. If you're not sure your list was collected properly, sort it before you send: my email list health & GDPR check reviews consent, cleans the list and fixes unsubscribe handling, so what you send is both legal and more likely to land.
How much does it cost?
Fixed-price, quoted per project, agreed upfront — based on how many templates you need and the amount of design and branding involved. It's a one-off; there's nothing to keep paying afterwards. Get in touch with what you're after and I'll come back with a clear number.
Can you write the emails too, not just the templates?
Absolutely — that's the email marketing service. The templates are the reusable shell; if you'd also like the welcome sequence written, set up and running on your platform, I can do the whole thing. The templates are perfect if you want to keep writing your own emails but want them to look the part every time.

Emails that look like you made an effort.

Tell me about your brand and the emails you send. I'll come back with a clear, fixed-price quote for a set of templates you'll own outright and can edit yourself whenever you need to.
